You may have noticed in some of the pictures I look too young to have 18 years of experience so let me tell you how it all started. 

I moved from Geneseo, IL to Colorado when I was 18 years old with the grandiose idea of being a ski bum, I succeeded with flying colors. Then 2 years later, my baby boy came into the picture. At 20 years of age with a baby on the way my best option was to hang up the snowboard and move back home to mom and dad. The best advice my dad ever gave me was, " you need a real job". He suggested getting into mudjacking because he had some work done back in 1999, (the garage floor is still holding up to this day). My dad said to try and get a job mudjacking and learn everything about it and maybe someday I'll help you start your own company. Well, I listened to him for once and that's exactly what happened. Midwest Reconstruction aka Mid-American Basement Systems hired me on as a laborer. I was the grunt for 3 years until I finally got the chance to run my own crew. I was the foreman/salesman for another 4 years with this company until I bought out the mudjacking division.
